The e-truck is designed for mid-mile logistics in suburbs and rural areas, positioned in the 7-tonne GVW category. The e-truck also boasts a container compatibility of up to 830 cubic feet, making it flexible for a variety of logistics and haulage applications.

The front fascia of the Switch IeV8 is elegantly crafted to attract attention

The Switch IeV8 on display at the expo donned a bright Cyan colored paint job, which certainly elevated its presence. Essentially, the cab is derived from Ashok Leyland Partner lineup. However, the styling elements on the front fascia, especially the vertical, elongated DRLs and projector headlamps, make its looks distinctive.

Further, the blacked inserts on the bumper and wheel arches make the truck’s visual presence very aggressive. On the inside, the IeV8’s dashboard is similar to that of AL Partner, except for the all-digital instrumentation, infotainment system, and electronic gear/ mode selector. Air-conditioned cabin, tiltable steering, and sliding/ reclining seats would ensure better comfort for the driver.

The truck delivers a maximum driving range of 250 kms in single charge. Fast-charging technology can enable quick recharging of the vehicle, thereby maximizing the uptime of the vehicle.
