Tata LPO 1622 Euro VI-compliant passenger bus launched in Qatar
Developed specifically for staff transportation, the all-new Tata LPO 1622 is the brand’s first Euro VI-compliant bus ever launched in the Middle Eastern markets.
Indian bus maker Tata Motors has launched the all-new, Euro VI emission standards compliant LPO 1622 bus in the Qatari market. The bus will be sold and serviced by its official local distributor Al Hamad Automobiles. This is indeed the first ever Euro VI-compliant commercial vehicle introduced by Tata in the Middle Eastern (MENA) region.

Targeting staff transportation, the 12-metre long bus promises superior performance, enhanced passenger comfort, and low total cost of ownership. It will be offered in two seating configurations – 65-seater and 61-seater, offering flexibility for the operators.
The Tata LPO 1622 bus is powered by Cummins ISBe 5.6-litre diesel engine, delivering 220 hp of power and 925 Nm of torque. It features a full air dual-circuit braking system with ABS, tubeless radial tyres, and a heavy-duty suspension system to ensure safety, comfort, and road stability.

With its durable aggregates, spacious cabin, and low operating costs, the LPO 1622 bus is an ideal fit for the Qatari fleet operators.
It is to be noted that Tata Motors is already present in Qatar. The company has introduced three Prima heavy-duty trucks, namely Prima 4040.K, Prima 4440.S, Prima 4040.T and the Prima 6040.S. These trucks are Euro V-compliant, and are designed to meet the growing infrastructure and construction requirements in the country.
