The premium segment in the Indian motorcycle market is steadily expanding, with every premium brands launching their flagship models. This year of 2017 is holding great promises for the luxury bikers, as a host of new models in a wide array of niche categories are awaiting to hit the road.

Here is the list of top ten premium motorcycles scheduled for market launch in India this year.

#1. Ducati Multistrada 950

If you think the Multistrada 1200 Enduro is intimidating and pricey, here is a smaller sibling you can buy this year. The Multistrada 950 will be powered by a V-twin motor producing 113 hp of power. Best suited for weekend adventures and long drives. It will be priced around INR 13.5 lakhs.

#2. Kawasaki Z900

The Z900 is all-new with ‘Z’ series muscular fairing and brilliant engineering. Powered by an in-line 4-cylinder 948cc engine that makes up to 123.6 hp of power, the bike will be assisted by a slipper clutch. With a price tag of over INR 9 lakhs, the Z900 makes a potent replacement for the popular Z800.

#3. Triumph Street Scrambler

A retro-styled scrambler type Triumph with aesthetic appeal and brilliant engineering to take on anything but rough. Sharing the 900cc parallel-twin engine from the Street Twin, the Street Scrambler will deliver 54.20 hp and 79.90 Nm of peak output.

#4. Triumph Bonneville Bobber

A yet another retro bike, but right from the core of American bike culture! The ‘Bobber’ is based on the Bonneville platform, with hard-tail styling, cage-type swingarm, and mono-shock rear suspension. It’s engine will be a 1,200cc parallel-twin unit. Likely to be priced over INR 10 lakhs.

#5. MV Agusta Brutale 800

Equipped with a 786cc in-line 3-cylinder engine rated at 116 hp and 83 Nm of max output, the Brutale 800’s selling point will be its hyper-brute styling with elliptical LED DRL, triple exhaust, and a chiselled tank area. The price tag for this bike will be around INR 13 lakhs.

#6. Ducati Monster 797

This will be the entry-level model in the ‘Monster’ range of sportbikes, with distinctive steel-tubular trellis frame, higher tank, and adjustable monoshock suspension. It will be powered by a 803cc L-twin engine generating up to 75hp power and 68.6 Nm of torque. It will be priced in the INR 8-9 lakh range.

#7. Kawasaki Z650

The MY2017 Z650 shares its platform with the Ninja 650, including its 649cc twin-cylinder engine, assist and slipper clutch, and telescopic fork frontal and horizontal back-link rear suspension. With pricing expected around INR 5.2 lakhs, the Z650 will be yet another star performer from the brand’s ‘Z’ family.

#8. Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled and Cafe Racer

Ducati is likely to strengthen its ‘scrambler’ range of dirt bikes with off-road traits , with the new Desert Sled and Cafe Racer models. The new models have undergone essential changes to make it off-road worthy. Prices are likely to be around INR 8-9 lakhs.

It will spawn different variants, giving buyers a wide array of choices to make. It will be priced around INR 5.5 lakhs.

#10. DSK Benelli Leoncino

A typical Italian term from 1950s, the Leoncino is Benelli’s avatar of scramblers with retro styling and off-road pedigree. It will be run by a 500cc parallel-twin engine producing 44 hp and 45 Nm of max torque. This bike to sure to stir up the niche segment of retro scramblers, with a likely price around INR 4.5 lakhs.
