Lexus LM 350h premium MPV is back in the game; bookings reopen
Lexus LM 350h is the most expensive MPV in India, with a starting price of ₹2.10 crores. The flagship vehicle is powered by a 2.5-litre self-charging hybrid powertrain.
Lexus India has reopened the booking for its flagship and uber-luxurious MPV – the LM 350h – in India. The car was initially launched in March 2024, followed by decent response from the domestic buyers. However, in September last year, the company had to close the booking due to supply chain constraints.

The Lexus MPV, which is essentially the luxurious iteration of the Toyota Vellfire, is on sale in two avatars in India. The 7-seater version costs about ₹2.10 crores, while the luxuriant 4-seater Lounge package goes all the way up to ₹2.63 crores. The Toyota Velfire, on the other hand, costs just over ₹1.20 crores. Therefore, there is no direct competition to the Lexus LM 350h in India.
Although the Lexus MPV is built on the same GA-K modular platform as the Toyota Vellfire, the detailing and premium craftmanship is all that makes the difference. The LM 350h is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine mated to a self-charging hybrid system (with a Nickel Hydride battery) and eCVT gearbox. The powertrain makes 250 hp power and 239 Nm torque at the max.

The Lexus LM 350h boasts a luxurious experience with features like airline-style reclining seats facing a massive 48-inch TV and immersing occupants in a 23-speaker sound system. Comfort is further enhanced by pillow-style headrests, individual front and rear audio controls, fold-out tables, and heated armrests.
Further, in-cabin practicality is addressed with multiple USB ports, wireless charging, reading lights, vanity mirrors, a refrigerator, rear gloveboxes, and even an umbrella holder. Contributing to a serene ride are noise-reducing wheels and tires, active noise cancellation, and a digital rear-view mirror.

On the safety front, the MPV is equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ 3, offering advanced driver assistance technologies (ADAS) such as vehicle detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with steering assistance, lane keeping assist, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and safe exit assist.
The premium MPV is said to have already received an overwhelming response in the Indian market, with booking crossing 100 units well within a month of its official launch. There is always a niche set of buyers in the premium space who prefer lounge or limousine type cars for their everyday use. The Lexus LM 350h perfectly fits that market space.
