Aprilia SR 150 Race Variant Priced At INR 70,288

Sportier variant of the SR 150 scooter, with modified gearbox and added exterior graphics. 

For a little extra premium over the regular Aprilia SR 150, Indian buyers can now opt for the sportier ‘Race’ variant that promises an enhanced performance and riding dynamics. One of the best bikes launched in 2016, the SR 150 is Aprilia India’s debut game, offering one-of-the-kind crossover riding experience and value-for-money.

The new Race trim features exciting cosmetic upgrades with contrasting Moto GP graphics, along with tweaked mechanicals for improved performance. The engine powering this motorcycle is still 154.8 cc SOHC single-pot unit as the standard SR 150, but promises better initial acceleration and linear power delivery. The CVT gearbox has been modified for this purpose.

Other changes include the red-coloured rear spring suspension and alloy wheels. A similar red-tone black rubber mat is also available as an accessory for the Race edition. Brakes are the same as the standard model – a 220 mm two piston disc on the front wheel and a 140 mm drum unit over the rear. It is priced at INR 70,288 (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
