Notably, the engine is mated to a 14-speed semi-automated gearbox featuring Scania Opticruise technology. It is still possible to choose manual mode, and change gears manually at any time.

The truck’s GVW (gross vehicle weight) rating is 31-tonne, with a payload capacity of 11.6 tonnes. It maximum gradeability is 38 percent and turning radius is 10460 mm. The P 410 also bags cruise control and an optional Idle Shutdown feature that turns-off the engine automatically at long idles, thereby saving fuel from wastage. On safety front, the truck range comes loaded with features such as ABS, Hill hold, in-cab smoke detector and a fire suppression system, emergency steering (2-circuit), all-disc brakes, reverse alarm, programmable speed limit, and 3-point seat belts.
