Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire ‘Allure’ Limited Edition Launched

The Swift Dzire is one of the fast-moving model in the sub-4 metre compact sedan segment, which also returns a considerable sales figure to India’s number one car maker consistently every month. In a bit to enhance the car’s appeals among its buyers, Maruti Suzuki has unveiled a limited ‘Allure’ edition with some fancy updates and accessories.

The Allure edition, to start with, bring a marginal styling upgrade with the signature body graphics, side skirts, and chrome embellishment on window frame, bumper corner protection strip, and over the boot lid. The limited edition gets an ‘Allure’ badge, along with the option of six paint schemes.

On the inside, the special edition gets faux wood treatment over the dashboard centre console and door trims. The dual tone beige and dark brown interiors is complemented by beige floor carpets, leather steering cover, centre armrest for the front rows, two ‘Allure’ signature pillows, and an optional Nertz music system. With these updates, the Allure limited edition stands a little more upmarket and premium than the regular model.

There are no changes to the mechanicals and engine options. The Dzire Allure gets the same 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine producing 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque, and a 1.2-litre K-series VVT petrol unit rated at 84.3 PS and 115 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox options are available in the Dzire range.
