Available only in ‘Cooper S’ trim with a 2.0-litre petrol turbo engine; CBU import from UK.

The second-generation Mini Clubman is one of the largest-yet-compact model in the Mini line-up. It debuts in the Indian market for the first time, in the exclusive ‘Cooper S’ avatar with a price tag of INR 37.90 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi. The Clubman will rival luxury compact models like Mercedes-Benz A-Class, BMW 1-Series, and Volvo V40.

Design wise, the Clubman is more of a ‘shooting brake’ concept, marked by stretched silhouette, an elongated roof line and elegant body lines, and a sharp-cut rear. The side-opening split doors at the rear is an another unique statement, the Clubman being a “6-door” car! But the front fascia is still a mix of classic ‘Mini’ styling with current trends – circular headlamps, hexagonal grille with loads of chrome embellishments, but supplemented with a  sculpted ‘power dome’ bonnet. Both front and rear lamps get LED treatments with integrated DRLs. The 17-inch Vent Spoke alloys and chrome-finish dual exhaust tailpipes add more flavor to the car’s styling.
