2017 Nissan GT-R Sports Car Launched At INR 1.99 Crore
Brought to India as CBU Import from Japan; will be sold exclusively via Nissan Dealership in Noida.
The ‘Godzilla’ is finally in India! Nissan‘s iconic performance car GT-R goes on sale for the first time here, with a price tag of INR 1.99 Crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi) for the Euro-spec ‘Premium’ Edition. The car that epitomizes the superior engineering and performance of Nissan will be sold exclusively at the brand’s Noida (NCR) dealership. The car will be serviced only at India’s first Nissan High Performance Centre (NHPC), located at this dealership. The GT-R is imported from the company’s Tochigi plant in Japan via CBU route.
One of the fastest street legal cars in the world, the new Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.8-litre V6 24-valve twin-turbocharged petrol engine that generates 565 hp at 6800 rpm and 637 Nm of torque at peak demand. The engine features individual ignition-timing control for every cylinders and an improved turbochargers, therefore superior acceleration is assured, especially in the mid and high-ranges above 3200 rpm. A 0-100 kmph sprint is claimed at less than three seconds.
A 6-speed manual sequential dual-clutch transmission delivers powers to the wheels. The new titanium mufflers and Active Sound Enhancement (ASE) mechanism is said to offer that seducing acceleration sound only motor heads will appreciate.
If performance is GT-R’s pinnacle, its styling is an yet another acme. The car’s well-known wind-cutting silhoutte defines its profile, but the new 2017-model year updates are more into intricate detailing. This includes the latest “V-motion” matte chrome finish grille, nice flowing hood design, and the freshly front spoiler lip and lower bumper kink. The side sills have been dragged over to improve air flow, while the rear features new body works and side air vents. The four-ring tail lamps and quad exhaust tips highlight the track-ready nature of this car.
On the inside, the new GT-R will greet you with all-premium cabin fully draped in luxury. The high-quality leather stitched dashboard features driver-focused centre console and instrumentation cluster, not to forget the race-ready steering wheel with mounted paddle shifters. There is also a new command control system for the customisable touchscreen infotainment display, along with a high-fi Bose audio system with 11 speakers.

The pre-order booking for this car commenced from the month of September onwards. Strictly for track enthusiasts with loads of money in their vault, the Nissan GT-R enters the exclusive league of high-end performance cars in India, which also includes BMW M4, Maserati Ghibli, Bentley Continental, and Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
