Chevrolet has unveiled its latest compact five-door all-electric hatchback 2017 Bolt EV at the on-going 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. With a whooping driving range of 200+ miles, the new Bolt is also packed with unique styling and advanced connectivity technologies.
The Bolt EV was first presented at the 2015 North American International Auto Show as a concept, and GM has now pushed for the production version in less than a year. The all-electric car will go into production by the end of this year in North America. The model shares lithium-ion battery technology with the 2016 Chevy Volt plug-in-hybrid.
On the design and styling front, the Bolt EV boasts attractive LED-infused headlights and taillamps and an aerodynamic dual-element grille, along with gloss black accents, a distinctive greenhouse, a tailgate-mounted spoiler. Inside the cabin, GM designers have crafted a unique, driver-centric dashboard that holds digital instrument cluster and a 10.2-inch MyLink infotainment system that has a “customizable, widget-based ‘flip-board style’ operation.”
